this is an afghan my mother made and actually kept. Most of her afghans were given as gifts to friends and relatives. This is the Navajo TearDrops pattern. Very easy to make. It is just crocheted across and cut off leaving fringe on each side.
The CactusPatch could be anywhere in the great southwest. In this case it is somewhere in the middle of New Mexico. Anyone who has ever grabbed hold of a range sheep knows, You wear your gloves! We will have a few recipes from the heart of ranch country, do some yarn spinning and some yarn spinning and tell some really tall tales too. I do promise to protect the guilty by using appropriate nicknames. The innocent can fend for themselves. They are usually guilty by association.

I made one of those a long time ago...gave it to my mom :) she still uses it. Made a pillow to match. I never knew what it was called, just loved the look of it. Always wanted to make one in teal/gray/black/white, but never got around to it!
