The CactusPatch could be anywhere in the great southwest. In this case it is somewhere in the middle of New Mexico. Anyone who has ever grabbed hold of a range sheep knows, You wear your gloves! We will have a few recipes from the heart of ranch country, do some yarn spinning and some yarn spinning and tell some really tall tales too. I do promise to protect the guilty by using appropriate nicknames. The innocent can fend for themselves. They are usually guilty by association.

- I have been a ranch cook for most of my life. Nobody messes with the Cook, even the bosses. Burned biscuits, coffee so thick you could float a horse on it and tough meats don't even get mentioned. I started spinning a few years back and love the feel of the fibers slipping through my fingers turning into yarns that I can crochet or knit. Then I lucked into a lovely floor loom! Now I don't keep a very neat house, only enough to keep the dust bunnies from becoming vicious. Fiber arts come first.
