Several different angles helps to decide what all needs replicated so that it will work.

I have woodturners near me that can make most parts we need. Hopefully you do also as it is a bit expensive to ship these things around the country.

All we need to do is explain to them what it is we think we want. Sometimes easier than other times, but if we can get the idea across to them it helps a lot.CactusPatchLambhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13603382935766917442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6345970559800428963.post-85311005698484561532009-06-10T10:39:49.531-06:002009-06-10T10:39:49.531-06:00Hi,

That is the easiest way to replace the parts.

I replaced a spoke in one wheel (wheel is 150+ also) and for the drive band you need a "rough cotton cord" I recommend for that the Irish Bell Pull chain: chain 2, single crochet in first chain, chain 1 single in top of previous single. then wet and stretch the chain. let dry under pressure and tie so you can adjust as necessary. Wax the drive with bees wax. Grease the axel with Vaseline and oil all leather parts with sewing machine oil;l

Get back to me if you need more info on these things.CactusPatchLambhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13603382935766917442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6345970559800428963.post-10941020836718676162008-09-07T18:25:00.000-06:002008-09-07T18:25:00.000-06:00Hello - This is my first attempt at blogging so ho...Hello - This is my first attempt at blogging so hope this comes through to you.
